A Beautiful Beginning to April

Last Monday I made a last minute decision to take our dinner 

and go picnic at the park.

AnnDee could not wait to get out the door! 

She has turned into a great little helper :-)

Thursday the kids had an Easter Egg hunt at School. 

AnnDee did not loose sight of her basket!!

I made a carrot cake from scratch.

 Great flavor, but it turned out so dense 

that Greg said we could use it to wash the dishes instead of a sponge....

(he has eaten some everyday, however)

The Texas Bluebonnets

Every March, random fields around our house 

fill up with these beautiful, vibrant flowers.

We've been Busy!

Some of you might mistaken the little girl in this picture for
AnnDee's mama. The resemblance is amazing.
(Especially when the coloring is edited to look 20 years old).

AnnDee is a great car washer.
The neighbors were lining up! 

                    

We tried our 4 hands at some baking...
(she never lost sight of that measuring cup!)

She got frustrated with the last 3 pieces.
It was all downhill from there...

This morning was B-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l.
We sat outside and enjoyed the breeze.
(AnnDee worked very hard to find the wind 
that was blowing her hair-
she kept turning in circles and looking in all directions).
Too cute!
